Currently working on: MailMe 0.7 - a ‘mail only’ Webmail client, which is in use for quite some time (since about 2001) - complete rewrite using valid CSS 2 + XHTML 1.0, from now on available as Open Source (GPL) 
Features include:
- sending mail to anybody you want using mail()-function
- adding additional stuff directly into mail-header
- adjust look & feel using personal profile (MySQL-based; using CSS)
- sent-mail folder / logfile system using MySQL table
- address book function (MySQL-based)
- composing e-mails using any standard WAP-enabled mobile phone
- optimized display for contrast-low monitors like of notebooks or your average PDA screen
